Meet Bubba, a large Pit bull with striking brindle stripes and an even more striking personality! Bubba is strong, independent, and quiet, yet his intelligence shines through in everything he does. He's highly trainable and currently perfecting his heeling skills-a task he takes on with determination and focus.

While Bubba is composed and calm in most settings, the sight of a play yard transforms him into a joyful puppy. He adores his toys and could play for hours, finding pure delight in the simple pleasures of life. When it's time to head back to his kennel, Bubba's playful spirit doesn't want the fun to end!

Bubba is a social butterfly when it comes to people, and he walks alongside other dogs with ease, showing his adaptable and friendly nature. Cats, however, are his weakness, sparking a mischievous curiosity he just can't resist!

This lovable brindle boy is a loyal companion in the making. Whether it's playtime in the yard or quiet moments by your side, Bubba is ready to bring joy, love, and plenty of tail wags to a forever home.

Additional adoption info

We test animals for the following:

Dogs: Good with other dogs, possibly cats, food aggression, walks on leash, noting any other attributes we may know.

Cats: Good with other cats, litter box trained, noting any other attributes we may know.

We cannot test if any animal is good with children. We may know if an animal is possibly house trained, but cannot guarantee any animal in the shelter is house trained. We do not know if a dog is good with cats unless we are advised by a person surrendering the animal. We may have an idea of this depending on how the dog reacts to our community cats that live on the property.
