My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Ty, and I am a Priority Pet! I’m 13 years young and on the lookout for a special someone who can see past my age and a few potty accidents to the sweet, cuddly, biscuit-making lovebug that I truly am.

Life hasn’t always been easy. I’ve been through a lot — diabetes, painful mouth infections, losing all my teeth, and surviving way too long on my own outside. But I never gave up. Since being rescued, I’ve healed up beautifully and have become a purr machine with a heart full of gratitude and trust (especially if you come bearing treats and ear scratches!).

I’m thriving now! I love to make biscuits, play with dangle toys, and I’ve even started learning to walk on a harness and leash like a little adventurer. I adore food, cozy cuddles, and gentle attention — especially from kids, who I think are just the best.

Because of my kidney condition, I do have occasional pee accidents, and I need a daily packet of Porus One mixed into my food. It’s a small ask in exchange for all the love I have to give. I’m not a fan of dogs (they’re pretty scary to me), and I’d do best as the only pet. I just want a quiet, loving home and a soft sofa to snuggle on.

If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion with a resilient spirit and a whole lot of love to give, I’m your guy. Could you be my forever person?
