My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miguel – A Sweet Young Pup Looking for a Second Chance

Miguel is a 1.5 yrs Labrador mix, weighing around 42 lbs. He and his sister, Whitney, were rescued from Apple Valley Shelter just in time—saved from the euthanasia list and given a second chance at life.

Now Miguel is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and he’s ready for a loving home to call his own.

 Miguel at a Glance:

  • Age: ~1.5 yrs

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever mix

  • Weight: ~45 lbs

  • Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped

  • Friendly with people and other dogs

  • Sweet, playful, and eager to learn

  • Needs basic puppy training (he’s still just a baby!)

Miguel is a sweet and affectionate pup who loves people and gets along well with other dogs. Like any young dog, he’ll benefit from some basic training—but he’s smart, eager to please, and full of potential.

He and his sister were found as strays, so we don’t know much about their past—but we’re focused on giving them the bright future they deserve.

Miguel is available for:

  • Adoption

  • Foster-to-Adopt

  • Foster

If you're ready to help Miguel write his next chapter, please contact the rescue. Let’s find this sweet boy the stable, loving home he’s been waiting for.

Go meet their pets

Most of my pets are with the foster in Tijuana ( Mexico). I have 1-2 fosters in USA but they have been busy lately. If anyone is interested in adopting one of my rescue dogs they get transported to San Diego and I pick them up and take them to their new owner and they get adopted. I haven't had an adoption event yet but if I do in the future will be at Pet Food Express because I am a rescue partner with them.
I also had some puppies rescued within California

More about this rescue

I fostered for a rescue for about a year. 4 of my rescue puppies( siblings) had Parvo and one didn't make it and rest ended up in the hospital. After being treated and survived Parvo they came back to me to foster them for 2 weeks before adoption. I ended up adopting one of the puppies ( foster fail) and I opened my rescue because of him and he is my rescue logo too.I want to save dogs and treat them and give them a forever home. Give them a second chance same way my foster fail had a second chance of living.
