My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucas – A Loyal Boy Looking for a Lifetime of Love

Lucas is a 1.5-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who weighs about 57 lbs. He was rescued from Apple Valley Shelter, pulled off the euthanasia list just in time. This sweet boy has already overcome so much—and now he needs a forever family who won’t give up on him.

Lucas is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He’s friendly with people and gets along well with other dogs with proper introductions. He’s loving, affectionate, and full of potential.

‍ Lucas at a Glance:

  • Age: ~1.5 years

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever mix

  • Weight: ~57 lbs

  • Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped

  • Sweet and friendly personality

  • Good with people and dogs (with proper intro)

Lucas was in foster care before a potential adopter took him in on a foster-to-adopt basis. He was officially adopted—but sadly, his adopter had to move out of town for work and couldn’t take Lucas with him.

Now Lucas is once again looking for a home—but this time, we want it to be forever. He needs a family who’s ready to commit to the next 10–12 years, through thick and thin. He deserves security, love, and a place to call home—for good.

We’re looking for:

  • Forever home

  • Foster

  • Or Foster-to-Adopt

Lucas has a gentle soul and a resilient heart. If you’re ready to give him the life he truly deserves, please contact the rescue.

Let’s make sure this next chapter is his happiest one yet.

Go meet their pets

Most of my pets are with the foster in Tijuana ( Mexico). I have 1-2 fosters in USA but they have been busy lately. If anyone is interested in adopting one of my rescue dogs they get transported to San Diego and I pick them up and take them to their new owner and they get adopted. I haven't had an adoption event yet but if I do in the future will be at Pet Food Express because I am a rescue partner with them.
I also had some puppies rescued within California

More about this rescue

I fostered for a rescue for about a year. 4 of my rescue puppies( siblings) had Parvo and one didn't make it and rest ended up in the hospital. After being treated and survived Parvo they came back to me to foster them for 2 weeks before adoption. I ended up adopting one of the puppies ( foster fail) and I opened my rescue because of him and he is my rescue logo too.I want to save dogs and treat them and give them a forever home. Give them a second chance same way my foster fail had a second chance of living.
