My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Honeybuns! 🐾
Honeybuns is back at the shelter through no fault of his own after being found as a stray, and this sweet, wiggly boy is ready for a real forever home this time.

Honeybuns is a high-energy, happy-go-lucky guy who greets life with enthusiasm! He gets excited easily and may jump or pull on leash when he’s eager to go exploring, but with a little guidance (and maybe some tasty treats), he’s ready to learn better manners.

While walking through the kennel aisles, he can be reactive to barking or excited dogs, and he may bark or growl back at them. Because of this mixed dog-to-dog behavior, a meet and greet is required for any home with another dog.

Once he’s out of the busy shelter environment, Honeybuns shows his softer side. He’s a total snuggler who loves being scratched all over—especially on his butt! He’s also quite playful and enjoys squeaky toys, making him a fun companion for an active adopter.

Honeybuns would thrive with someone who appreciates both his spirited personality and his cuddly, affectionate moments. If you’re looking for a dog who can keep up with an active lifestyle and melt into your lap afterward, Honeybuns might be your perfect match 🧡 🐶
