My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Freddy — Your Gentle, Easygoing Companion! 🐾
Freddy is a 9-year-old neutered Corgi mix who originally came to us as a stray. Though he was microchipped, his owner never reclaimed him. He was later adopted but sadly returned due to behavior issues at home, including trying to escape the yard and chewing on things. Now, Freddy is back with us and once again hoping for a loving, understanding home where he can settle in and thrive.

Despite his past challenges, Freddy is the definition of calm and gentle. In his kennel he’s quiet and composed, always greeting staff with a soft tail wag. He’s very easy to leash, hops right out, and walks beautifully — no pulling, no fuss, just a relaxed little buddy enjoying the world by your side.

Once outside, Freddy loves to wander peacefully next to his person, taking in the sights at his own pace. He’s friendly, easy to handle, and adores calm pets and snuggles. Give him a little scratch and he’ll lean his whole body into your legs for more affection.

Freddy is quiet and rarely barks. He’s polite and not overly interested in other dogs. With his docile, easygoing nature, he may do well living with another calm, respectful dog after a proper introduction.

Freddy may need some guidance and management in the home to prevent escape attempts or chewing, but with patience, consistency, and a secure setup, he has all the potential to be a wonderful companion.
