Kane is our resident Goofy Goober and full-time class clown! This big, silly sweetheart has mastered the art of making everyone laugh—whether he’s galloping down the yard like a majestic “horse” or answering proudly to the nickname Kane Corso (even though he’s not one). Full of SpongeBob energy, Kane turns every walk, play session, and meet-and-greet into a goofy adventure. If joy had four legs and a tail, it would look exactly like him.
Despite his playful, bouncy personality, Kane is also a dog who needs patience and understanding. He’s naturally shy and warms up slowly to new people, but with positive reinforcement, high-value treats, and some structured introductions, he shows his sweet, fun-loving, and affectionate side. He adores people and wants to be part of your life, always ready to make you smile and share his big-hearted silliness.
Kane would do best in a single-family home, townhome, or garden-style apartment in a quieter neighborhood without enclosed walkways or elevators that might force close encounters with unknown people or dogs. He’s not comfortable with other dogs, and he thrives best as the only dog in the home. Kane has done well with a child around age 12, especially with supervision and mindful attention to his size and body language.
Kane is trainable and benefits from structure, management, and positive reinforcement. He can be a counter-surfer, so keeping tasty items off counters and gating areas when unsupervised is recommended. He’s also working on his confidence outside, and high-value treats are helpful for socialization and building courage in new environments.
Under the right guidance, patience, and love, Kane will bring fun, laughter, and a goofy, loving heart into his family’s life. This energetic class clown is ready to gallop his way into the perfect home!
