Milo is a gentle, affectionate pup who loves being close to his people! Smart and eager to please, he already knows a few tricks like paw, sit, and lay down. At about 65 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-large buddy for someone looking for a loyal adult dog who already has plenty of life experience.
While Milo has experience living with young kids and was a total sweetheart with them, he can be sensitive to loud or unexpected noises and may startle easily, so he’ll do best with an adopter who can offer him a quiet environment and gentle reassurance as he settles in. Once he feels safe, Milo’s personality blossoms - he enjoys tasty treats, cozy resting spots, and simply being near his favorite people.
This sweet guy has been working hard on building confidence, especially with handling and new situations. Milo would really benefit from a patient adopter who can continue helping him feel secure, celebrate small victories, and go at his pace. A Fear Free–oriented vet and positive-reinforcement approach will help him thrive. He also loves relaxing enrichment like chew toys, snuffle mats, and soothing background sounds, all of which help him unwind.
