But seriously, hellooooooo? Is there anyone there? Sometimes I feel like I try my darnedest to get your attention and no one answers.
I’m wondering what my future holds. I’ve actually been trying to control things myself, but now I don’t think that’s working for me. I’m even still waiting on a two-week fling after all this time. Is there anyone who can teach me something as well as love me for a little while?
Like any dark and adventurous young man, I’m a bit of an enigma. Usually dark and handsome draws people in, but maybe that doesn’t work for black dogs?
Luckily, I have some great volunteer friends at Frosted Faces Foundation and they do help me
feel seen. They’ve been saying things like this:
* Tanner is Mr. Personality! It’s hard to not have fun with him be it belly rubs, stuffed toys, fetch, tug-of-war…he does it all and his enthusiasm is infectious.
* Even though he’s a goofball, Tanner is doing great with sitting when asked and demonstrating calm energy when coming in for pets. I believe Tanner wants to please!
* Tanner is not your typical Frosted Face. This boy can move! He loves a hike or a jog and isn’t reactive when passing other dogs or walking near respectful friends.
* Tanner is great in the car and always up for adventure. He was a rockstar climbing Potato Chip Rock and at the Stroll for Seniors. A true foodie, Tanner will not pass up a pup cup or hamburger patty after exercising!
So, since I’m in a bit of a drought (seriously, who’s looking for a 5-year-old at a senior center?), I’m going to tell you how you can help me.
When Frosted Faces stepped up to save a youngster like me from Devore Shelter, it might have been my first big break ever. Now I’m waiting, though not so patiently, for one more chance.
Surely you know someone who doesn’t have a pet already. Are they also the type of person who wants to make a difference?
Other Molly & Me Project parents will tell you that it’s a relationship they are proud of. I’m not shy, so let’s talk!
