Ranger entered the San Diego Humane Society as a stray, and sadly, he wasn't claimed. We welcomed him as a Frosted Face on November 17th.
Ranger is estimated to be 9 years old, weighs 53 lbs., and is super sweet and gentle. As you can see in the videos shared with us by the Humane Society, he is calm and well-behaved around other dogs.
Ranger recently returned from a Frosted Field Trip, and his foster only had wonderful things to report:
"It’s a wonder that Ranger hasn’t been adopted yet, as he is a complete gem! He is very, very sweet and mellow. He enjoys being petted but isn’t pushy about it. He wags his tail and just enjoys being by your side. He did play with a toy briefly, and he enjoys walks.
Ranger does excellent in the car and enjoys sticking his head out the window. When left in the car, he doesn’t seem to bark or whine. I have a feeling he would do fine being left alone at home.
Ranger did great with small and large dogs both at my house and at the dog park. He was a bit overly curious about my cats, but I was able to redirect him and tell him “no kitty” to get him to give the cats space. It got better with time.
Ranger's days were filled with car rides, an occasional walk, pee breaks in the yard, and lounging on his dog bed, on my bed, or on the couch. He’s a snuggly boy!"
Ranger is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, enjoying more time in a home while he waits for his forever family. Could it be you?
