Blondie came to the rescue as a young puppy full of hope. Somehow this sweet girl is about to hit her 365th day at the rescue waiting for a foster or forever home. We are absolutely devastated for her and we are BEGGING for your networking help. Blondie is a stunning, female, Lab mixed breed. She continues to wait at the front of her cage with her tail wagging, hoping her family is going to find her soon. Blondie shines brightest when she’s the center of attention and it’s impossible not to smile anytime you look at her. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. She is very ready to FINALLY leave the shelter behind for a warm bed and a family of her very own. Could you be her hero? Stop in to meet her and apply. We promise that you won't regret it!

ADOPTION INFORMATION

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO STRINGENT OUT OF STATE HEALTH CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE NOW ONLY ADOPTING TO RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS*. We apologize for the inconvenience.

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and fIll out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

Helpful reminders:
*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
