Meet Scarlet, a redbone coonhound mix who is ready to find her forever home! She was found as a stray in Cherokee County, Alabama, alongside her sister's five puppies after her sister was tragically hit by a car. Scarlet was surrendered to Big Dog Ranch and is settling in quite well as she focuses on her health.

Redbone coonhounds are known for their friendly disposition and strong hunting instincts. They are intelligent, energetic dogs that thrive on companionship and love to be active. Scarlet is eager to share her affectionate nature with a loving family. If you're looking for a loyal companion ready to embark on new adventures, Scarlet would be the perfect addition to your home!

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit the ranch. Our website adoptions page has all of our availalbe dogs and our adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
