Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Holly (fka Daria), is a joyful, enthusiastic, little girl! Holly was seen by a caring individual being dumped on the side of the road, left with only a bag of food. But her smile says it all! Holly has never met a dog or person she didn't like - and what she loves MOST is soaking up cuddles on the couch and trying out being a lap dog. She is eager to please, food motivated and fully crate, and potty trained. Holly knows basic commands including sit, stay, down, and paw.
Holly loves to play whether it's by herself, with another pup, or with a human. When her foster is busy, she'll gladly settle for tossing toys alone or destroying them. Self-entertaining is truly such a gift for a young dog to have! She's a vocal player and welcomes a game of tug or a good game of chase around the yard. With pups, she's rough and rowdy - so not all dogs taste for a play romp but she is also perfectly fine being near dogs without playing, making her suitable for dog heavy locations!
Despite her exuberance, Holly is a medium-high energy girlie. She recently moved from a suburban neighborhood to a busy area of DC and she has thrived in both. Holly's current foster has found she will settle quickly after some activity - whether a 30 min. walk, a mile run, or some intense tug. Then she's down to snooze away. She's still a young pup who needs her daily exercise and is working on how to channel her exuberance in meetings.
Holly's foster mom says she is a dream dog! The perfect house guest, friendly with humans, and with dogs. Holly is a darling, happy girl who will be sure to brighten your days!
ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. That said, we cannot guarantee that any dog is housebroken or crate trained and cannot promise any specifics regarding an animal's breed, size, health, behavior, temperament, or other conditions. Our adoption fee does not fully cover all vetting, medical care, food, supplies, or training costs. As we depend on donations to provide for the animals in our care, we are unable to reduce or refund the adoption fee.

More about this rescue
P3 is a united rescue effort to both save pitties and support veterans. At P3 we LOVE Pitties & we LOVE & RESPECT our Veterans! 2800 Pitties & Pittie Mixes are euthanized in overcrowded shelters every day, over 1 million every year. 22 Veterans commit suicide every day, over 8,030 per year. At P3 we find these numbers UNACCEPTABLE! P3 was created in March of 2024 with the goal of rescuing Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes from overcrowded shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia and providing the necessary training for them to provide emotional support, nightmare alerts, and pressure therapy during episodes of anxiety and stress so they can be paired with a Veteran struggling with PTSD reducing the risk of Veteran suicide. While we support our Veterans, our rescue is not limited to the placement of service dogs for Veterans only. Our Veterans program is only one aspect of what we do. We want to help EVERY pittie find the perfect furever family!
