My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Georgia is a good-natured kitty that especially enjoys spending time on the screened area where she can savor the Florida breezes and watch everything going on outside her house – dogs being walked, volunteers coming and going, and of course those tall birds that stroll around in the grass looking for bugs. She is also comfortable around people and enjoys attention from all.

Although Georgia lives in a house with other kitties, she would much prefer to be the only cat in her forever home.

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this good-looking kitty? See for yourself what a lovely kitty Georgia is and how much love and companionship she could add to your home.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
