My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I`m in a foster home. To find out more about me, please email: artiebout@gmail.com.

When folks meet Kaisen the response is the same....`What a beautiful dog!` and `She is so sweet!` and we agree. She is a totally gorgeous gal who just so happens to be super sweet and precious! Kaisen is a VERY GOOD GIRL who still has oodles of fun puppy energy. Kaisen is a loving and affectionate miss who is always ready for adventures. She is a real motivator if you are seeking a wonderful dog that will get you out for long, fun walks. A volunteer recently spent time with this cutie and shared, `Kaisen has put her time at the shelter to good use and studied the basic manners curriculum to its last letter! Sit, down, stay, touch, give paw -- she`s got these all-down pat, and is so ready for more! She also immensely enjoys a game of fetch!` Kaisen is a young lady who needs adopters that want to help this sweetie with her leash walking skills and to engage in lots of play time. She LOVES to play and it`s a joy to hang with this delightful friendly miss. Please meet this darling soon! She is amazing!

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
