Skittles came to us from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Terrified and unsure of human kindness, she arrived trembling and withdrawn. But this brave little girl has blossomed in foster care into a quiet beauty, learning to accept love, treats, and gentle affection for the first time in her life.

Adores head and back rubs are favorites especially after meals or roaming time
Seems to enjoy soft music
Timothy mats and tunnels are life
Loves having 2 hay bins-1 for litter box & 1 for eating (although not required-just cute)
Gives gentle head bumps when she's happy, almost as if she's thanking you for being near
Skittles has excellent litter habits, enjoys hopping onto low, solid surfaces, and prefers early morning playtime. She loves narrow trails and tucked away spots, and she appreciates having multiple hideouts-amazon boxes are excellent (& free!) Skittles will thrive best in a calm and steady home. Foster mom keeps her bedroom door closed to give her a quiet sanctuary. And while she may not be a fan of loud TV or wild energy, she enjoys company not wanting to be alone.
Skittles communicates gently—with head bumps letting you know she wants you nearby. This girl rewards you with zoomies, lap visits, and a little heart that’s finally learning what it feels like to be safe and cherished

More about this rescue
We are a rescue for HIGH RISK rabbits. Most have been confiscated by animal control or from other life and death situations. Our bunnies were forgotten, neglected, or worse. These bunnies have been through some nightmare situations.
Adoption includes:
* spay or neuter
* RHDV vaccination
* vet and health care given during foster as needed
* good bunny behaviors and socialization addressed during foster
We've saved their lives, nurtered them back to health and help them to trust humans again. They're now ready to find their PERSON. They're ready to experience what BUN LIFE is meant to be, and to show you how much entertainment and love they can give. If you're interested in applying for adoption or becoming a foster, we're here to help you every step of the way.
PLEASE NOTE that due to the volume of rabbits coming in directly from animal control, WR is NOT able to take in owner surrenders. We WILL try our best to help you through whatever issues you are having so that you can keep your rabbit as a beloved companion pet. DO contact us for advice!
