Stella is a lively, loving Malinois who is all about her toys - big toys, small toys, and especially hidden toys are her joy! She loves that her foster mom keeps her well supplied cuddly toys. She is also a great cuddler herself – she loves to lay on her person and give kisses in exchange for belly rubs.
Great with kids, great in the crate, Stella loves her family and home. In fact, she is very protective of her home, and needs her foster to introduce her to new people so that she knows they are safe for her family. If you are looking for a watchful, protective family member she is a good bet.
Stella also is learning to love searching for her balls outside – she has a good nose and is likely a good search and rescue or nose work candidate. Those toys hidden around the house are quickly found by Stella, no matter how clever her foster momma tries to be when hiding them!
Stella has a lot of energy, and needs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She is fine with other dogs, but will need slow, structured introductions.
If you are looking for a higher energy pup with a love of family who would love to have a job in dog sports, Stella might be your perfect girl!

We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.

Interview
We interview applicants and 3 references. References include 2 non-family members and 1 vet.
Home Check
After a successful Home Visit the applicant is eligible to review available dogs and talk to state coordinators about making a good match.
Approve Application
Pay Fee
All MAD dogs are UTD and spayed or neutered. An adoption fee will apply to any dog that is adopted after completing the above process.
