Dandy was adopted from us in July and has found his way back to our care. While returns are never easy, they give us the opportunity to be even more intentional about finding the right match, and for Dandy, that perfect match is out there. Dandy is a deeply loyal boy who loves his people fiercely. Once you’re in his circle, you’re really in, he forms strong bonds and thrives with consistency, structure, and clear guidance. He is an active, intelligent dog who needs a family committed to providing regular exercise, mental stimulation, and continued training. When his needs are met, Dandy shines. He does have some stranger danger and can be dog selective, so thoughtful introductions and respectful boundaries are important for him. Because of this, Dandy would do best in a home with older children and a securely fenced yard, where he can safely burn off energy and relax in his own space. We know we’re asking a lot for Dandy, but we also know that he is absolutely worth it. For the right family, Dandy will be an incredibly devoted companion, the kind of dog who chooses his people every single day. If you’re experienced, patient, and looking for a dog who will return your effort with unwavering loyalty, Dandy may just be the one you’ve been waiting for. Our goal is simple: to see Dandy and his future family succeed together, for good.
