Eggnog came to us as a stray, scared and shut down, and needed time to adjust to shelter life and the people around him. With patience and consistency, he’s started to show us who he really is, an adorable guy who loves playing with toys and enjoys getting out for walks. Each day, Eggnog continues to make progress and is learning that humans aren’t so scary after all. He’s looking for a special family who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let him decompress at his own pace. Because his fear can make him a flight risk, Eggnog will do best with someone experienced and prepared to manage him safely. With the right home, we know he’ll continue to blossom.
