Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update: Kobe reminds me of slinky from Toy Story! 😍 Less then a year old and He is such a great dog! He is house trained, crate trained and goes in with a call of his name. He isn’t much of a barker but does have a voice! Its quite funny 😅 He is such a happy goofy boy. Every time he gets out of his kennel he wraps his body around my legs like a slinky and looks up for love. He loves borrowing his face under you to snuggle. He loves dogs, cats, kids and blueberries, pineapple, carrots, cucumbers literally everything!! lol He loves dinner time and always is the first one done to see who’s leftovers he can snag. He has blended so well with our pack! All around a great dog!
Kobe is a mixed breed young dog coming to us from Costa Rica. He loves other dogs, especially girl dogs. He is very friendly to both dogs and people. Kobe loves to play. I think his ideal match would be a home with another dog, ideally female, or a friendly male. Kobe is also good with cats. He will be in Maine on 1/18 and will be fostered in Lewiston.
Adoption fee is $450

More about this rescue
Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.
PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
