My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Bitsie, a playful cat with a crooked little smile that steals hearts on sight. She greets you with happy chirps and flops right over like she has been waiting for you all day. Her quirky charm really shines when she climbs into your lap and cozies in with the sweetest confidence. Bitsie is fun, affectionate, and full of those tiny moments that make you fall in love fast. She is ready to bring her chirps, cuddles, and one-of-a-kind grin to a home of her own.

More about this shelter

CCA was founded in 1980 by a small group of individuals dedicated to helping animals. Since then, our group has grown to include a small shelter. Our group's mission is varied: to maintain a shelter for abandoned, sick or injured animals; to adopt out dogs and cats to loving permanent homes; to provide for their animals low-cost spay/neuter assistance to families who lack the means to pay; and to strive to prevent and to stop abuse and/or neglect of an animal.

We are always in need of volunteers! If you are interested in becoming a part of our group, please let us know by calling 864.243.4222. We'd be glad to have you on board!
