Meet Tyson!
Tyson is a 9-year-old neutered male boxer/pit mix who weighs about 35 lbs. This lovable guy has the classic pittie vocals and a sweet personality to match!

Tyson previously lived with another dog, so he may do well with a furry sibling, but an onsite meet and greet is required to ensure it’s a good fit. He’s good with older kids and would love a calm, cozy home where he can be your walking buddy.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
