Meet Tuukka – The Tri-Fecta Dog!
Tuukka is a 4-year-old male Boxer/Lab mix weighing in at a solid 100 lbs of love. With his handsome black and white coat and easygoing personality, Tuukka is the total package!

Affectionately referred to as a “tri-fecta dog,” Tuukka does wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids — making him an ideal companion for just about any home. He was surrendered to our Evansville location after his previous family had to relocate out of state, and now he’s ready to find his next forever family.

Tuukka is gentle, social, and full of heart — a perfect fit for a family looking for a big, friendly companion who gets along with everyone he meets.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
