My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bama – A Gentle Giant Looking for His Forever Home♥️

Bama is a 97-pound sweetheart who doesn’t realize just how big he is—he’ll happily try to curl up in your lap like a much smaller pup! This gentle senior has a heart just as big as his size, and he’s as loving as they come.

Bama tragically lost his owner and is now searching for a home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is incredibly sweet with people of all ages. Whether he’s leaning in for cuddles or simply keeping you company with his calm, affectionate presence, Bama is sure to fill your home with warmth and love.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will be your best friend through thick and thin, Bama is waiting for you. Could you be his perfect match?

Apply today to meet Bama and give him the second chance he deserves!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Found an animal on our site and want to meet them or find out more about them? Fill out the adoption questionnaire located below and submit to us. Once we have reviewed/approved your application, we will provide you with the foster contact information so that you can find out more and arrange a “meet and greet”. All of our animals are located in foster homes throughout the Triangle area.

When going to a “meet and greet”, please make sure you take any family members and other pets (if at all possible) to observe their interactions. This can make introduction into the new home easier for the animals and for you.

The animal’s foster parent will ultimately make a recommendation to the organization regarding the permanent placement of the animal. Once an adoption decision has been made by both parties, we ask for an adoption fee to help us cover spay/neutering, shots, medical treatment, food and supplies – this amount only partially cover the cost of expenses and allows us to help as many animals as possible!

What if the adoption doesn’t work out? We have a lifetime return policy on our animals as we don’t want to see them turned back into a shelter.
