Meet Duke,

The spunkiest senior around. Duke was found as a stray in a not-so-great part of town. He is heartworm NEGATIVE which definitely means he had a home. He has ALL the personality but in his tenured life, he is also really well behaved. He loves to go on walks and gets along great with other dogs and loves every human he meets! He is ready for a TRUE forever home that won't abandon him. Can you help?

SHR will require an application and home visit for the adoption of any of our animals. The customary adoption fee is $150 for dogs $85 for cats.

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.
