My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopt Baloo – Your Loyal Companion!

Meet Baloo, a sweet and friendly 1.5-year-old pup who was rescued from a shelter just an hour before he was scheduled for euthanasia. This handsome boy is now looking for a forever home where he can show just how loving and loyal he truly is!

About Baloo:

    •    Age: 1.5 years

    •    Personality: Baloo is a sweet and friendly dog who loves meeting new people and is a loyal companion. He thrives in public settings and enjoys cuddling up at home, especially when the sun is out – he loves sunbathing!

    •    Good with Dogs: Baloo is dog approved and does well in play groups. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well in a multi-dog household.

    •    Kids: Baloo is fine with older kids, but may be too strong for very young children due to his energy and size.

    •    Not Cat Tested: He hasn’t been tested with cats, so a cat-free home is probably best for him.

    •    Fully Vetted & House Trained: Baloo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He’s also house trained and ready to settle in!

What Baloo Needs:

    •    A family who can provide him with love, attention, and snuggles.

    •    Ideally, a fenced yard would be great for him to run and play, though it’s not a dealbreaker.

    •    A patient, active family who will appreciate his loyalty and energy.

If you’re ready to make Baloo your forever best friend, fill out an adoption application to get started!

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs and cats come spayed/neutered and vaccinated! Some of the pups will only have their first round of shots and may need rabies if they are under 3 months old. But other than that, these babies come ready to go! Our adoption fees vary, please inquire about each dog's individual fees. We do have cats and kittens available from time to time, so please inquire if you are looking for a feline pal! With their vetting, flights and care, we only ask for the adoption donation to help offset costs and make sure our adopters are serious. We love our rescues like we love our family. They mean the world to us and we just want to see them in good loving homes! And please check back as we are always adding new rescues to this page.

More about this rescue

We approach each every situation with an open mind. We work to build respect and trust with the partners, communities and countries we work in. With their acceptance, we build a plan together to meet the most pressing issues. We listen, learn and solve the needs together. We look for solutions that are integrated, scale-able, and sustainable. At Compassion Kind, we work with governments, institutions, local leaders, civil society organizations, foundations and businesses around the world to ensure that the most vulnerable beings are heard, and that they get the assistance they need to sustain from within the communities. Our teams and partners advocate for capacity building training and grass roots techniques so we make a lasting impact, create measurable change and operate as efficiently as possible.
