Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dahlia is available for adoption! Shes been listed for several months with zero inquiries or applications! He sister was adopted quickly as she looked like a pure bred GShep.
SHES READY! Please SHARE!
Dahlia is a lively and playful german Shepherd mix weighing approximately 45 pounds.
She has an abundance of energy and loves to engage in fun activities, making her a great match for an active household. She is crate-trained and potty trained but may need continued reinforcement in new environments.
On a leash, Dahlia is doing well!
She does get excited when she sees new friends so we are working on positive reinforcement.
She thrives when given structure and consistent training. While she enjoys being around both people and other dogs, she is still learning how to respect personal space.
Dahlia’s biggest challenge is her tendency to chew things when bored, so keeping her mentally and physically stimulated is key. With the right balance of exercise, training, and enrichment, she will continue to grow into a well-behaved and affectionate companion.

Additional adoption info
We are extremely thorough with our adoption process. Our goal is to find the best fit for our dogs. We reserve the right to deny anyone a dog if we feel the applicant is not qualified or is not a good fit for the dog at our discretion. We require two personal references that we call to check character and get a recommendation on why or why not the applicant is a good candidate. Also, we call the vet reference to be sure the applicants current dog is current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. The home check is mandatory to be sure the applicant lives where they say they live and the pet will live in a safe environment.

More about this rescue
The Charity's specific purpose is to rescue lost or abandoned dogs from shelters, from the streets or from owners who are no longer able to care for them. Our goal is to prevent further euthanasia of these animals. All dogs receive medical care and behavioral training as needed to prepare them for a new home.
We do not have a facility.
All of our dogs are in foster homes.
The charity will also focus on efforts to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals to prevent the overpopulation of animals in Texas.
Our adoption fee is $300 which includes alteration, vaccines, microchip, training program in some cases & any medical treatments needed for each dog to be 100% healthy and successful in a home. Must have an approved application to set up a meet and greet.
