My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Finnegan isn’t your average feline—he’s got that unmistakable Aquarius vibe: curious, clever, and just a little bit eccentric. With a heart full of adventure and a mind that’s always ticking, Finnegan loves to explore his surroundings, invent his own games, and keep you guessing with his delightful quirks.

He’s not big on cuddles, but don’t take it personally—Finnegan shows his love in his own unique ways. Whether it’s a playful headbutt, a dramatic flop in the middle of your path, or a sudden burst of zoomies, he’s always finding new ways to express himself!
This brave and independent boy thrives on stimulation and will keep you entertained with his antics and unpredictable charm. He’s the kind of cat who marches to the beat of his own drum—and you’ll love him all the more for it!

More about this rescue

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.

Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
