My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A note from Julio`s Fosters:

Julio is a love puppy. He is a cuddler, remarkably affectionate, and loves to have his love returned. He gets excited when we come home. He wiggles, prances around, and wags his tail! His happy eyes say that he adores you!

He is also a great kisser. He likes lick your face. He is most content when sleeping in bed with people! He will curl up on the end of the bed, but only after lots of cuddling and kisses.

Julio asks to play often during the day. He will bring a chew toy, fetch it, and bring it back to play tug-of-war. When you tire of the game, he lies down and happily chews by himself. He also likes to wrestle!

He is in excellent condition, active, strong, energetic, and fast! If he were human, he`d be a triathlete! Julio needs lots of exercise, and will thrive in a home with room to run, with healthy, athletic adults and energetic older children willing to help him grow from a good dog to a great one.

Julio is eager to please. He loves his human companions and always wants to keep them company. He is excellent at communicating his needs, and easily asks for love. When he needs attention, he will bump your leg with his nose, or put his paw on your leg. If you are busy working, he sits patiently and stares at you. However, Julio is not the clinging type; he can spend time on his own if you are too busy.
He knows how to sit, shake, come, and lie down. He makes good eye contact and sits when he asks for something. With a forceful `No”, he will stop what he is doing.

He is house-trained. He is a good boy, but needs some leash training because he is a puller. He loves walks, but gets upset when he sees dogs he doesn`t know, and does not like strange cats.

Overall, Julio is a wonderful dog, a loyal companion with a big, sweet heart. You will not regret adopting this energetic, loving, intelligent pup!
