My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome man is Ollie!

Ollie would love nothing more than a place to call home for the holidays. He is available to foster, adopt or foster to adopt. He is currently living in a doggy boarding home-based daycare situation.

Ollie is an approximately 8-year old male Shepherd mix and weighs around 35 lbs.

Ollie LOVES to play and will play with you as long as you are able! He loves chew toys and bones. His foster has said that Ollie likes to watch TV and gets really excited at times depending on what is on the TV.

His current boarding place has this to say about him:

Ollie is such a fun guy, he’s goofy, loving, outgoing, knows his basic commands, kennel trained, potty trained, & loves to play with toys! Plus he has the best ears 💁‍♂️
🐶Ollie is a bit selective on his canine friends & does best with older and/or calmer dogs.
🐱Cats though? Not his thing 🙅‍♂️ he believes those are spawns from the underworld that his people must be protected from.
🐿️Squirrels? Same thing, they are not to be trusted!!
🧒He would do best with older kiddos, younger kiddos can be a bit stressful for him!

Ollie can be selective of his friends, so he must meet any other dogs in the household prior to adoption! We also recommend no cats as well. He will need a securely stockade fenced yard!

Ollie is crate, leash and potty trained.

Ollie is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Additional adoption info

Every dog that is rescued by Forever Yours is checked by a veterinarian, vaccinated, spay/neutered, dewormed, heartworm/ehrlichia tested and treated if needed, and microchipped. We also treat any other illnesses or issues that the dog may have on intake.

We require an adoption application (FYDRadopt.com), a house check, and our adoption fee is $250.00.

If available, you will get an opportunity to talk to your chosen pet's foster family when you meet your potential new family member. This will enable you to ask any questions and learn all about your pet.

Forever Yours Dog Rescue does not have a facility, all of our wonderful rescues are in foster homes with families that take care of them and love them until their forever homes come along.

More about this rescue

Forever Yours Dog Rescue was founded on November 8th, 2011, with the mission of helping smaller animal shelters located throughout Oklahoma.

We are an Oklahoma City based all-breed 501(c) dog rescue, caring for the unwanted, abandoned, and abused dogs of Oklahoma. We rescue from local shelters and shelters throughout Oklahoma. We do take owner surrender's under certain situations.

We advocate spay/neuter and offer assistance in finding a low-cost option for those that qualify.

We promote adoption as an alternative to buying your pet.
We provide pet ownership education through materials, counceling, and on-site workshops, at no cost to the public, with an emphasis on preventative care.

We are all volunteer based, with no paid employees.
Please support us in our mission to attain a time in Oklahoma when there are homes for all adoptable pets by donating at www.foreveryoursokc.org/donate.
