My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Bella. I might not be the first to run up and greet you, but give me a little time and you’ll see just how affectionate I can be! I love attention—especially when it’s offered with a little patience.

I’ve got a big personality packed into an adorable package. I’m not shy about sharing my thoughts either—whether it’s meowing for a snack, chatting about my day, or just reminding you I’m nearby, I’ve got plenty to say and I’m not afraid to say it!

I thrive in a calm, cozy space where I can be myself. If you’re looking for a companion who’s independent, loving, and always ready for a good conversation, I might be your gal!

More about this rescue

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.

Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
