Meet Melody: Hiker Babe, Ball Chaser, and Queen of Personal Space
Melody is the kind of girl who’ll take you on a power walk, steal your heart, and then your spot on the couch—without even pretending to be sorry.
She's got main character energy in all the best ways: up for any adventure, always down to sniff something questionable in the woods, and will absolutely judge you for skipping leg day. Want to go on a hike? She’s already at the door. Want to binge true crime and eat snacks in bed? She’ll be the little spoon (but she’s not sharing the blanket).
Sure, she enjoys a good fetch session with a soccer ball like any red-blooded athlete, but she's not obsessed—more like, “I’ll chase it a few times, then you chase it.” Balance, baby.
As for other dogs? Melody can tolerate their existence—from a respectful distance. She can pass them on a trail, share a sidewalk, maybe even throw a casual glance their way—but live with one? Absolutely not. She’s not here to share her space, her snacks, or your attention.
Think of her as the hot girl at brunch who’s fine with other people being around—as long as they don’t talk to her, touch her mimosa, or sit too close. Melody isn’t mean, she just has standards.
Her ideal home:
Loves long walks, open trails, and post-adventure snacks
Thinks “personal space” is a sacred human-canine agreement
Doesn’t take offense to side-eye with a side of sass
Has a fenced yard or somewhere she can pretend she’s training for the Fetch Olympics (briefly, then dramatically flop in the grass)
