My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a sweet girl who knows her commands, lovely Lisbeth is the girl for you. Lisbeth knows sit, down, shake, and will even sit calmly while you put her leash on. She will bring you her toy and drop it at your feet after she has romped around the yard with it. At approximately 5 years old, she is the perfect combination of calm and fun!

Lisbeth was adopted and returned the next day. Although she was good with the adopters other dog during the meet and greet, she became jealous at the home and started a few spats. She also jumped the 6 foot fence when she was put outside. With this said, it takes way more that a day for any animal to acclimate to a new home. It takes a good 3 months for a new animal to feel comfortable, so the adopter needs to do what they can to make it work and wait to see if things improve.

Lisbeth might be better as an only dog and will need a secure situation, with secure fencing.

From Lisbeth`s Day Hike Volunteer:
Lisbeth was great on the hike. Loose leash walking, jumped in the car and rode nicely, not reactive to all the other dogs, birds, squirrels and people that we saw, liked to give kisses and get pets. Like most German Shepards, I think that she will be fiercely loyal to her people as she wanted to please. She was motivated by treats and look at these pictures that I got - she is a super model too! Overall the perfect dog in my book!
