Personality: Veni is a stunning 10-year-old longhaired gentleman with a striking white and black coat. He’s friendly and enjoys companionship, but he does have clear boundaries on what he’s comfortable with. Veni appreciates his space and will let you know when he’s had enough attention, so he’s best suited for a person who respects his cues and enjoys a more independent feline companion. Though he may be a bit particular, once you’ve earned his trust, he’ll happily enjoy your company on his terms.
Good With: Veni has always been an only pet and has lived his entire life as the sole focus of his elderly owner’s attention. As such, he would do best in a home where he can remain the center of attention. While he enjoys human companionship, he may not be the ideal match for a household with other pets, especially if they’re overly energetic or pushy. A calm, quiet environment where Veni can maintain control of his space would suit him perfectly.
Background: Veni was surrendered to our rescue when his elderly owner moved into assisted living and could no longer care for him. He’s had a peaceful life and is now looking for a new, understanding family that will respect his boundaries and allow him to live at his own pace. Veni is a bit of a refined gentleman who appreciates a bit of solitude but is still eager for affection when it’s on his terms.
Special Notes: Veni’s ideal home is one with an experienced cat owner who understands that he may need some time to adjust and set the rules of his space. He’s a beautiful, sweet boy who, once comfortable, can be a wonderful companion. If you’re looking for a laid-back cat who knows what he likes, Veni could be your perfect match.
