🐾 Meet Ichabod Crane 🖤 This large, handsome black cat has the kind of mysterious charm that fits his name perfectly! Ichabod Crane was found wandering in the country, likely abandoned through no fault of his own. Despite his rough start, he’s now safe and getting the care he deserves.
Ichabod is an older gentleman who came to us severely underweight and with worn, painful teeth — but he’ll be feeling much better soon after his upcoming dental! He’s also all four declawed, which means he’ll always need to stay indoors where he can be safe.
Ichabod enjoys gentle petting and quiet company, but he likes things on his own terms — he’s not one for being fussed over or pushed into anything he doesn’t want to do. He’s looking for a calm, understanding home that will let him relax, rebuild trust, and enjoy his golden years in comfort.
If you have a soft spot for cats with character and resilience, Ichabod Crane may be your guy. 💛If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. Completing a questionnaire on any other website does not submit an application to our rescue, you must complete one on our website. If you have any questions, please email us at adopt@MidwestPetRefuge.com
