Luka, a young, male, perhaps Shepherd mix was brought to the rescue as a stray and sadly no one has come forward to claim him. Initially Luka was quite unsure & frightened of his new environment, often cowering when tring to leash him to go outside. Now Luka wags his tail when approaching his kennel eager to go for a walk or spend time playing in the big yard. He has had play dates with other dogs at the rescue and done well. He weighs 40lbs, appears to know a couple basic commands & seems to be house trained. Luka is now current on vaccines and neutered.
