Meet Barrett, a loving and friendly boy who is sure to capture your heart! Barrett was brought to the rescue as a stray however after being posted on social media it came to our attention that the person who brought him in claiming to have found him was his actual owner who had had him since he was a puppy. Luckely people in the community who knew Barrett was able to give us information to help in find a new forever home. Barrett a male German Shepherd was born January 2018. He apparently enjoys playing fetch, loves children, does well with other dogs however he is not a fan of cats. Barrett weighs 100 lbs, is house trained, he was already neutered and is now current on vaccines. At the rescue he has been friendly and cooperative with all the volunteers He is an adult dog, so he has a calm and gentle nature, but don't be fooled – he still has plenty of energy and curiosity to keep things interesting! All pets adopted from Tri-County Animal Rescue Center will have received a vet wellness examination, de-wormer, and vaccinations.

If adopting a cat/kitten you must agree to not have it declawed.
If living in a rental property, we must get permission from the landlord.

Our dog adoption fee is $125 and we require either a spay/neuter deposit of $50 or a certificate for spay/neuter at our vet may be purchased for $100 (unless already spayed/neutered which would change the adoption fee) if the option of the $50 deposit is chosen, it will be returned after proof of the surgery.
Our cat adoption fee is $75 for kittens and $35 for adult cats. The cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter costs. All cats and dogs receive a wellness check and are current on all vaccinations appropriate for their age.
The adoption process includes filling out an adoption application and providing references. Any current pets in the household must be spayed or neutered (unless not recommended by a veterinarian for health reasons) and current on vaccinations.
