This big handsome guy is Cowboy!

He’s approximately 2 years old and around 50 pounds.

He comes from the working -scenthound group and is very strong, so he’ll do best with either a big, fenced yard for exercise, or someone experienced to walk a strong, athletic dog on-leash.

He loves his people and is extremely loyal.

He’s been tested with some mild mannered dogs and did beautifully.

We typically like to have them try the pet in their home for a few days before taking payment.

Go meet their pets

The majority of our dogs are kept at the Meredith Road address and we also have some in foster homes.
All pet meet and greets are by appointment.

More about this rescue

We have had our non-profit animal rescue since 1998.
We also had an adjoining Spay and Neuter Clinic until June 2024. That was given to a local Veterinarian and we have downsized to just the rescue.
