Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Female - DOB: 5/12/2021. Meet Carolina, a gentle and reserved soul with a quiet charm. While she’s shy and reclusive, she gets along beautifully with her feline roommates in the FIV kitty room. Carolina enjoys sneaking out to explore or lounging on the cat tree when she thinks she’s unobserved. With a little extra patience and time, we’re confident she’ll bloom into a loving companion. Could you be the one to help Carolina feel safe and loved? She has bonded with her FIV friend, Jason and we think they'd do best in a home together.
Carolina is FIV positive, meaning she can live a long, healthy life but needs to be an indoor-only cat and live with FIV-positive siblings.

More about this shelter
In 1978 a group of neighbors got together to provide foster homes and find families for the ever-increasing number of stray animals roaming the Tri-Lakes area. As the program grew, it became apparent that a shelter facility was necessary. After ten years of fund raising, the Tri-Lakes Humane Society opened in June, 1988!
We are a no-kill 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter for stray and abandoned animals while seeking to find them permanent homes. We receive no state or local funding and rely solely on public donations.
