Meet Bunny B, a spirited 3-year-old Pit Bull. Bunny B was surrendered along with the other dogs on the property when their owner could no longer properly care for them.
Bunny B thrives on walks and loves to zoom around the play yard, showcasing her high-spirited nature and zest for life. She’s always up for a new adventure, and a good walk or romp in the yard is her idea of a perfect day. Her playful energy is contagious, and she loves nothing more than being around people, including children, who she adores. She’s the type of dog who will happily greet everyone with a wagging tail and a big smile.
While Bunny B is a social butterfly with people, she can be a bit picky with her dog friends. She’s confident and knows what she likes, which means she might not get along with every dog. It’s important for her to find dog buddies who match her playful yet assertive nature, so patience and careful introductions will help her thrive in a multi-dog home.
Bunny B is a smart girl who keeps her kennel clean, but she will need some time and patience to decompress in a new environment. As she adjusts to her new home, she’ll need a caregiver who understands the importance of gentle routines and giving her the space to feel comfortable. With the right guidance, Bunny B will quickly adapt and blossom into the loving, fun companion she’s meant to be.
Bunny B was previously spayed. She is Microchipped. We have updated all vaccines including rabies. She has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention.

The Orange County Animal Shelter is responsible for providing humane care to unwanted, lost or abandoned animals
The Orange County Animal Shelter provides safe haven and vet care for hundreds of animals of all ages and descriptions each year.
Happily, we have had great success promoting our animals on Petsmart adoption events and with the help of Adopt A Pet. Dozens of animals have been adopted by people who have come from many other states. Would you like to join them? If so, please let us know! The greater our reach the more homes we will find for the animals in our care.
Although we are about 1.5 hours away from the Washington, D.C. metro area, it is an easy drive. You can even make a day of it and stop off at country stores, Civil War battlefield sites and a huge mall complex in Spotsylvania/Fredericksburg. And after all, what is a few hours in drive time when you will be meeting your new best friend? If you need help getting here, call us for directions
