My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome boy is Clark!

Clark is an approximately 10.5 month old male Hound mix who will weigh around 70-80 lbs. as an adult (best guess). Rescued with his Mom and siblings after having been born under a truck.

"Hi, my name is Clark, and I am a very friendly and playful puppy with lots of love to give! Even though I am just a baby, I have a very affectionate nature and enjoy cuddling up to my human friends. I love to play and have lots of energy, so I would be perfect for an active family who wants to take me on long walks and adventures. I am very curious about the world around me and love to explore new places and smells.

I am excellent with children, cats, and other dogs. I need another playful dog in the home and a securely fenced back yard to play in.

I am also very smart and can be trained to do tricks and be a good boy. I would love to have a forever home where I can grow up and be part of a loving family. If you think I would be the perfect addition to your family, please come and meet me today! I can't wait to find my forever home and share my love with you."

Clark would love a home where he is included in activities and given lots of attention and play time.

Clark is doing excellent with his house-training but may require patience in a new environment. He will need continued assistance with leash-training. He is crate trained.

Clark is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225.

Additional adoption info

Every dog that is rescued by Forever Yours is checked by a veterinarian, vaccinated, spay/neutered, dewormed, heartworm/ehrlichia tested and treated if needed, and microchipped. We also treat any other illnesses or issues that the dog may have on intake.

We require an adoption application (FYDRadopt.com), a house check, and our adoption fee is $225.00.

If available, you will get an opportunity to talk to your chosen pet's foster family when you meet your potential new family member. This will enable you to ask any questions and learn all about your pet.

Forever Yours Dog Rescue does not have a facility, all of our wonderful rescues are in foster homes with families that take care of them and love them until their forever homes come along.

More about this rescue

Forever Yours Dog Rescue was founded on November 8th, 2011, with the mission of helping smaller animal shelters located throughout Oklahoma.

We are an Oklahoma City based all-breed 501(c) dog rescue, caring for the unwanted, abandoned, and abused dogs of Oklahoma. We rescue from local shelters and shelters throughout Oklahoma. We do take owner surrender's under certain situations.

We advocate spay/neuter and offer assistance in finding a low-cost option for those that qualify.

We promote adoption as an alternative to buying your pet.
We provide pet ownership education through materials, counceling, and on-site workshops, at no cost to the public, with an emphasis on preventative care.

We are all volunteer based, with no paid employees.
Please support us in our mission to attain a time in Oklahoma when there are homes for all adoptable pets by donating at www.foreveryoursokc.org/donate.
