Meet Koala!
Koala is an 11-month-old, 27lb Australian Shepherd mix with a big personality and a love for life!
Koala is a smart girl—she was house-trained in just a week—and she thrives on playtime with both her toys and other dogs. True to her breed, she has lots of energy and sharp instincts, so she’ll do best in a home with strong, confident leadership. She tends to bond more closely with men and would be happiest in a household without small children, as her excitement sometimes leads to jumping.
She’s playful and fun-loving but still learning to share and release toys. At night, Koala enjoys curling up in her crate with her blanket, a fan, and a nightlight nearby. She likes being outdoors and is still working on perfecting her leash manners.
Some of Koala’s favorite things include her Kong stuffed with Cheerios and peanut butter (she’s allergic to chicken), crunchy dog cookies, and chewing on bones. She also loves running and romping around with her canine friends.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
