Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐾 Meet Dottie – The Smart, Water & Sun-Loving Pup You've Been Waiting For! ☀️
Dottie has been soaking up all the love and sunshine in foster and now she’s looking for that special someone who will give her the time and space she needs to thrive.
Dottie may take a minute to warm up, but once she does, she’s all in — loyal, affectionate, and eager to be near her people. She loves lounging on the bed or sunbathing on her fosters deck in the backyard. While she can be quiet and independent at times, she also has a playful, silly side. She does best in a calm, predictable environment.
Dottie is a quick learner and is having fun with training and games like “find it” that engage her nose and brain. She’s a strong girl and can be enthusiastic on leash — especially when squirrels or exciting scents are involved. Quiet walking routes are best for her, and she LOVES to sniff and explore at her own pace. She also LOVES car rides!
Dottie is looking for an adult-only home, where she will be the only pet, with people who understand that good relationships take time. Once she feels safe and secure, her sweet, affectionate side really shines. 💕
