My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zoey, a loving, playful girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Zoey is people-oriented, affectionate, and happiest when she’s spending time with her humans — whether that’s hanging out in the yard, going for a walk, or soaking up gentle attention.

Zoey lights up when someone takes the time to engage with her. She’s house trained, walks nicely on leash, enjoys chew toys, and settles well when left alone. She’s also known for being talkative in the cutest way and has been described by staff as a “really good dog” who listens well.

Zoey has lived with children before, but because the shelter environment has been stressful for her, she would benefit from a calm, quieter home with teens or older kids where she can continue building confidence and feel safe.

With patience, consistency, and love, Zoey will blossom into a devoted companion who brings joy, fun, and affection to her forever home.
