My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Traviesa! 🐾🎉

Traviesa is a fun-sized 40 lb black and white terrier mix with a huge personality! Goofy, bouncy, talkative, and full of playful energy, she’s the life of the party wherever she goes. This athletic girl loves to run, jump, and play—she’ll keep you laughing and moving all day long!

She’s looking for an active home where she can show off her silly side and get plenty of attention, exercise, and love. Traviesa does require a dog-to-dog meet to ensure a good match, and we recommend bringing the kiddos in to meet her too—she wants to be everyone’s best friend!

Come meet Traviesa and let this playful pup bounce her way into your heart! 🐶🖤🤍

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
