Skye is a two-year-old, 11-pound Miniature Australian Shepherd. This adorable girl is full of potential. She is active, playful, and sweet but still learning to trust the world around her. She seeks attention and enjoys being petted when you kneel down, but when you stand, she may bark and retreat. While she craves companionship, she can be cautious with new people and situations. Skye is still learning to walk on a leash and can be sensitive about being picked up, so she will need a patient adopter who can help build her confidence.
Despite her shyness, Skye has done well living with cats and dogs of all sizes, making her a great candidate for a multi-pet home.
Skye is a Guardian Angel dog with a $400 adoption fee. These highly desirable dogs help support other rescues with medical or behavioral needs. Her fee includes spaying, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
