10 months! Almost 11 months- of 0 viable applications for Stelluna.
Is it her age? She’s likely only 3 or 4. Is it her ears? It’s not her fault she was left outside for flies to eat them off. Is it her quirks? I think carrying her bowl and rolling around is hilarious.
I really can’t pinpoint why Stelluna aka Stelly, Stellybells, Stellinski, Stellactite- is still with us. Stelly may despise car rides, but she loves adventure once she lands! She may prefer her company in male dogs, but she loves to play once she makes a friend. And she may only like cats if she’s ✨eating✨ them 😅, but has been safely managed around the kitties we have here.
She knows sit and down, she knows how to walk well on leash (do not let her lie to you, she knows manners 😂), she is crate trained (but she stays in her own room or pen in the house and is lovely!), she’s a lover girl but not suffocating, and she’s a little weird, but in a truly endearing way.
Stelly is the perfect dog for a home with mature adults with no or older kids, who will respect her desire for independence- and also her demands to throw her balls! 😂 She has enough toy and food drive to make training her a breeze, and enough “dude, where’s my car” energy to be happy with a solid hurkle durkle day in bed.
If you want pretty, devoted, and smart all wrapped up in a non insane package, Stellybells is your girl!
Stelluna is available for adoption in Greenville SC; all out of area adopters must travel in to meet and greet with their approved dog/s.

More about this rescue
Red’s House Rescue Network is a working breed rescue based out of Greenville County SC. Our primary focus are breeds that are “too much,” the breeds that deteriorate quickly in shelter environments, and sometimes have a bad rap. These dogs are capable of being incredible members of society, as pets, sport dogs, and working partners. RHRN has placed dogs in IGP, PSA, Service Dog, & Police Department homes, among others. We also of course have lower drive dogs that make wonderful pets.
We aim to place all of our dogs with basic manners/OB in place, and we are a forever asset to our alumni’s- for any issues or needs post adoption, we will ALWAYS help, and we will ALWAYS take our dogs back if there is a need. Once an animal passes through Red’s House, they’ll always have a home!
