Dottie needs a very active leader for her best fit. She is a dominant personality and if she had an energetic owner, who is a pack leader, she’d be golden. She is a working breed and needs someone who can guide her. Very affectionate as well as active. She’s a great dog just needs to land in the right place. A fenced yard is definitely needed
Age: 1 year. WT: 58 lbs. Temperament: Good with energetic male dogs, no small kids, she is a herder. Vetting: spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW negative. Training: crate trained, house trained, knows commands Sit-stay-down-heel . Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.

We are 100% volunteer/foster based, so we do ask that you complete an adoption application in order for us to schedule a phone interview.

After reviewing your application, we'll contact you to determine if dog is a good fit for your lifestyle and home.
Approve Application
We check vet and personal references to ensure previous dogs were well cared for, so please be thorough in providing this info.
Home Check
This enables the dog to get to know you and your home and for us to suggest anything they may need to be successful in your home.
Sign Adoption Contract
You would also pay the fee at this time, however, we offer a 2 week trial period before cashing your check. We will always take dogs back.
