My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi ya, friends!!! It’s me, Frisco! I’m an 8-years-young Cairn Terrier weighing just 12 lbs, which makes me the perfect size for scooping up and snuggling! I’m a true gentleman and a sweet boy who LOVES being with my humans—I’ll follow you everywhere because I never want to lose sight of you. My beautiful full tail is always wagging, especially when I see my favorite people!

I’m not a fan of crate time, but I’m happy to nap in another room when you go out. When you come back though? Get ready for ALL the wiggles! I love attention and soaking up every bit of love you’ll give me. I get along great with other dogs and enjoy being near them, watching them play in the yard. I’m more of an observer than a player myself, but I love their company! I don’t know about cats or kids yet, but since I’m such a gentle soul, older kids would probably be just fine.

I LOVE car rides and watching the world go by from the window. I enjoy exploring the neighborhood and continue to improve my leash-walking skills especially when treats are involved! My foster mom is also helping me brush up on my house manners so I can be my absolute best doggie self for you!

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
