My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I'm Xavier! I'm a 1-year-old Chihuahua boy weighing under 12 pounds, which means I'm the perfect size for your lap, your purse, or basically anywhere you want to take me! As a true Chihuahua, I've got a big personality packed into this tiny body!

I'm a happy, very energetic pup who LOVES people! I'm good with other dogs (they're cool, I guess) and we don't know about cats yet. I'm working hard on my house training and doing my best, and I'm also working on crate training and honestly crushing it! I'm great on a leash and love car rides – adventure is my middle name!

Here's my favorite thing in the whole world: sleeping with anyone who has a blanket! Seriously, if you've got a cozy blanket, I'm IN. It's like my homing beacon. I'm still very much a puppy with tons of energy to burn, so I need an active family who can keep up with my zoomies and love for life!

I may be small, but my capacity to love is HUGE. Plus, I'm portable – what's not to love? Ready for a pint-sized companion with a king-sized heart?

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
